Lots of Love – Levenshulme Old Library Supper Club Fundraiser

Saturday 11th February

Levenshulme Old Library group are pleased to announce that Manchester City Council have now started the work needed in the old library building. Things are starting to get moving and it looks like we will be able to re-open the building as a community arts hub later this year.

To help get the project up and running, we’re holding a Supper Club fundraiser on Saturday 11th February from 7pm till late, at St Mary’s Chuch Hall, Elbow Street, M19 3PY.

Expect a 3 course vegetarian feast, with a complimentary glass of red or white wine or soft drink, live music from the Jazz Biscuits, dancing and entertainment (including a quiz and raffle).

Tickets are priced at £15 a head plus a small booking fee, great value for what promises to be a simply fabulous evening. All proceeds will be going to support the rebirth of Levenshulme Libary as a creative space for our community.

MENU:

Starter: Fresh tomato and basil soup with crusty bread

Main Course: Champagne and wild mushroom Farfalle - A bow shaped pasta Pan fired mushrooms tossed in Champagne with spinach and creamy finished off with black pepper and fresh Parmesan. Rocket and sweet baby tomato salad

Dessert: Lemon Syllabub with a heart shaped biscuit
